Weekly Roundup – 26th April

Annual General Meeting

Last Thursday night Club President Dave Ferguson welcomed everyone to our A.G.M. where we reviewed the past year,  and elected a new Management Team for the year ahead.  He thanked the past season’s Management Team for all of their work and especially outgoing M.T. members  Elaine Woodford,  Nancy MacArthur,  Graeme Buchan and Bob Black along with everyone else who had worked so diligently over the past year.  Each Office Bearer then delivered their reports before Trustees and a Management Team were elected.

The new lineup is:

Management Team:  Sara Marshall;  Ian Pratt;  David MacKenzie 

Club members were advised that we are connected to 8 Representative or Regulatory associations.  They are:  Falkirk Arts Network;  the Glasgow & District Photographic Union;  the Scottish Photographic Federation;  the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain;  the Fédération Internationale de l’Art Photographique;  the Council for Voluntary Services – Falkirk & District,  the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator and the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations.

While formal Thursday night meetings have now ended,  they resume on Thursday 17th September,  club members will meet online next week to discuss summer Photowalks and online arrangements.

Season 2026 – 2027

This is the final,  regular,  Weekly Roundup of the 2025 – 2026 season.  They will resume in early September and our 2026 – 2027 season begins on 17th September 2026
