A short Weekly Roundup this week as last Thursday was our Christmas night out when we went for a meal at a well known and long established Falkirk restaurant. On Thursday 14th December we will be at Falkirk Bowling Club for Monthly Competition No. 3. This is our Themed competition so will be especially interesting
Much work is going on behind the scenes as we move towards the second half of our season which starts on 8th January, please keep an eye on the Home page of our website as a venue change is imminent. We usually plan well ahead so now have an outline for season 2024 – 2025. One of our F.C.C. members is a competition judge and is already being booked for 2025 so it’s necessary to plan well ahead these days.
On the photographic front and if the weather allows, the later sunrise and early sunset, make this an interesting time for photographers. The effect of the light on landscape or urban scenes at these times, at this time of year, is quite remarkable. Just be sure to have a flask of hot coffee, or a coffee shop, nearby.
