Delivering his report at last week’s AGM club President Bob Black, approaching the end of his tenure in the role, thanked everyone for their enthusiasm and commitment to the club during recent years. He commented that the move online during the pandemic had been a necessary and huge change, but had enabled us to establish contacts with photographers and other photographic clubs throughout the UK and further afield. We had all felt a sense of relief at resuming in-person meetings in September 2022 while our move to Trinity Church in January 2024 presented new opportunities. Workshops and photo-walks had been extremely successful while the club’s participation in national events enabled our photographs to be recognised and appreciated by a wider audience. Michael Cox then delivered a fulsome vote of thanks to Bob for his dedication and leadership.
