Martin Sproul is a leading international tutor in post-processing and an old friend of our club so it was a pleasure to welcome him back to Falkirk last Thursday. His subject was Lightroom Classic, with a particular focus on the importing and organisational aspect of the programme. Martin discussed the importance of using Keywords moving on to the importance of creating a Catalogue which could be further divided into Collections. Using his own photographs from Tuscany, Venice and Scotland he demonstrated each action, step by step, frequently checking that the audience understood. Martin has the gift of explaining complex processes in a particularly understandable and logical manner providing a highly educational evening.
Two F.C.C. photographers have had 2 monochrome images each accepted into the Royal Photographic Society’s Digital Imaging Group exhibition. Agnes Clark LRPS had Lisianthus plus Muscari On China accepted while Nancy MacArthur CPAGB ARPS was successful with Pals and Smiling Lily.
