Last Wednesday night we took part in the final of the Glasgow and District Photographic Union Image League competition. While we did not win the competition, Best Image of the night was Highjacked, a superlative Natural History image by David Jones.
Next season begins on Thursday 14th September and, for the first time, the season has a Theme. The Theme will be Processing and Printing and will focus on post – processing, making a Print, then preparing that Print for competition or exhibition. Syllabus Secretary Graeme Buchan has arranged a series of Thursday night presentations, to which evening or week-end workshops will be added.
In the meantime this Weekly Roundup will update periodically over the summer months.
Take care and thanks for looking in.
